The board has reponded to a recruitment ad published by the international recruitment firm Michael Page in Sweden. The position, Gift specialist, is about to organize and build the logistics operation in Stockholm and its region for a renowned worldwide institution. In the sought applicant’s profile it is mentioned 2000 year experience of Reindeer Management and good relations with elves. The job description includes localization of chimneys.
In the cover letter for application the board especially refers to the Stockholm Sami association’s members profiles collectively as a unique source of competencies and skills to fill the position’s requirement’s to establish an effecient organization in Stockholm with future growth potential.
More seriously the board also pointed to the special business risks. The future supply of carriage animals for the logistic fleet is threatened. Among the threats are grazing land rights law suits, grazing land exploitation due to wind power establishment and predator politics of the Swedish Government.
